Would you agree with this statement?

"Total peace can only be accomplished when total war arrives. or total peace will come when total war is done." Theyre the same quote. But the meaning is that the only way the whole world will become one nation or get along is when theres a war that jeopardizes all of humanity. Such as extraterrestrial beings from outside the Earth trying to invade. I agree with the statement because I would think that after theres after the human species has been threatened rather then just a nation peace and harmony can be acheive assuming humanity survived.
