Why do dominicans in nyc think they're the best?

in my school they come throwing their flags up bragging about dominican pride & what their country has & what we dont ,they make fun of black people behind their backs saying how dark & crispy they are which is quite ironic due to the fact that half of them are darker then me , then they come starting trouble with their fake gangs thinking they bad , puerto ricans are more easy to talk to & easy to become friends with , as long as you say the word dominican in front of them they take it offensive but they dont expect nothing to comeback to them when they talk about other people . i had some dominican friends but they were embarassed to see me if they were with their dominican friends , from the way they act & talk its obvious that they think theyre the best , if they have so much to say about your country then why dont they stay there & help protect it instead of coming here bragging about it & trying to be gangsters ?
