Is there a way to get social security without guardianship?

my sister and her fiance have been taking care of me for the last several months and they haven't officially transferred guardianship yet my mom still gets the check is there a way that we can get the checks from my mom and legally cash them before they transfer guardianship so they can take care of me until it does get transferred
