Anybody know anything about guardianship in Scotland my son has autism?

I don't much about the Scotland guardianship, except that the person must be about to turn 16 or older, that your wanting to apply for a guardianship. I found some links which might be helpful, in explaining how to go about the process and what a guardianship means
