How do you end adult guardianship over someone?
Call the Adult Protective hotline in your state and explain your situation. You can search on the Department of Health and Human services website. If you can't find it, call their main number and explain what you need. They should be able to direct your call. You have the right to terminate adult guardianship and choose which guardian you will have if the court determines you need guardianship. If you don't get anywhere with the state, call the Disability Rights Center in your state. Just google Disability Rights Center and your state name.
